Volunteer at Camp St. Christopher

St. Christopher is still in dire need of help in the food service area. As of now Camp St. Christopher needs 2 to 3 more volunteer people at any one time to assist with the meals. St. Christopher welcomes volunteers that only want to volunteer once or are willing to make a regular commitment over several weeks for a particular meal on a particular day. The most urgent need for help is with the evening meal, to alleviate the extended and additional days currently being required of the regular staff. Contact The Rev. Robert S. Lawrence 843.768.0429

At St. John's

June 6
Grant, O Lord, that the course of this world may be so peaceably ordered by your providence, that your Church may joyfully serve you in quiet confidence and godly peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

For Persecuted Churches

We pray for persecuted churches around the world. For the month of June we pray for the nation of Kenya. Heavenly Father, Christians and Christian churches in Kenya are suffering due to radical Islamic persecution, tribalism, corruption, organized crime, and violence. We pray for all Christians in Kenya to endure the pressures of all these persecutions. We pray for the Christian leaders to persevere through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lord, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
