Haut Gap Worship Service Announcement
Greetings Saints of St. John's Parish Church,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our first Sunday worshipping at Haut Gap Middle School will be Sunday July 17, 2022 at 10am.
The address for Haut Gap Middle School is 1861 Bohicket Rd. Johns Island, SC 29455. We will have signs directing you into the school and where to enter the building. The Yellow areas are parking areas. The thin lines indicate parallel parking along the school front entrance and the road. The red arrows indicate the two roads into the school ground and into the building entrance on the side. When you enter the side door you will see the welcome desk and signs into the cafeteria where we will be worshiping.

| Sunday Worship starts at 10 a.m. Please bring a cushion, stadium seat or camp chair if you need. We will be using the school's benches for seating.

Please plan to attend this special worship service. As Fr. Jeremy+ has said many times, the most important thing any of us will ever do is worship our Lord. We will do so together - united by the shed blood of our Savior Jesus Christ - will full reverence and holiness.
During this transition, and in our time worshipping at Haut Gap, we will need all hands-on deck. If you can help in any capacity, I encourage you to help. We have multiple sign-up sheets available and multiple opportunities to serve. We need people for:
Pre-service - set up, altar guild, hospitality, nursery
During service - readers, ushers, acolytes, audio/visual, prayer teams, nursery
Post-service - take down and clean up

Haut Gap Welcome Team Ministry
Did you know that according to Barna Research, 40% of visitors make up their mind about a church before they see the pastor, and within their first two minutes of a service they have already formed an opinion about whether the congregation is friendly?
Because gracious hospitality is the heart of what it means to welcome people, we are expanding our Hospitality Ministry Team to include welcoming newcomers. Whether serving as a greeter who smiles and says good morning at the door, a host who escorts a visitor to the right place, or a server of coffee and pastries, our first interactions will show people that the world is a more hospitable place because of Jesus.
