This year's Radiance Tea is to support the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center. Ladies are encouraged to bring a new baby item to the tea to supply the 'Baby Boutique' with clothing, blankets, books and bath items which parents can receive following the completion of a parenting class. And also to supply the 'Because We Care' program with diapers, wipes, formula and other essentials. (A package of diapers enters you into a raffle giveaway. — Sizes 4, 5 and 6 are the most popular.) St. John’s Parish Church provides meals whenever the need arises for those dealing with injury, illness or other extenuating circumstances. Currently, our parish has several members dealing with surgeries, broken bones or hospitalization. Please prayerfully consider helping to provide meals through this ministry. The 2025 Christian Men’s Conference will be held at Lutheridge Camp & Conference Center, a 160-acre wooded retreat center in Arden, NC. We are thrilled to have Todd Fields returning as our Praise Leader, and Shay Gaillard will serve as our Chaplain for the weekend.

The Thursday evening Men's Group is starting a new study February 6 - March 20. Led by Sam Gervais and Heath Gunther, they will read through J-Curve by Paul E. Miller. 

The J-Curve maps the ups and downs of daily life onto the story of Jesus. It grounds our journeys, not in some abstract idea, but in union with Christ and his work of love. Understanding our lives in light of the J-Curve roots our hope, centers our love, and tethers our faith to Christ.

While our big drive for cards is at Easter and Christmas, we wanted to let you know about this opportunity to send a Valentine's card to the youth in February. Children are welcome to take part by writing or drawing Valentines! Just remember, sign first names only or “a friend,” use print only and don’t seal the envelopes. If you do multiples, please rubber band them together before dropping them off.

Turn in cards to Chrissy Binz, Libby Puckette or the church office by Sunday, February 9.  Any chance we get, we love for our parishioners to point these youths to Jesus Christ, so please join us in sharing the Good News with them this Valentine's Day. If you prefer to donate snack items for the bags, please contact Chrissy or Libby for specific needs.

Mark your calendars to join us for live music, chili, hot dogs, desserts, Christian fellowship and oysters. We will also provide sodas, water, and juice boxes.

Lowcountry Pregnancy Center (LPC) exists to provide life affirming reproductive health and family services in a compassionate Christian environment. Some services they provide are pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, nurse consultations, post-abortion support, parenting classes, fatherhood classes, baby supplies, prayer support and more. St. John’s continues to support LPC yearly with contributions from our outreach budget, and this Saturday, the Women's Radiance Tea is collecting supplies to donate to LPC.
