Please send the names of loved ones who have passed since November 1, 2024, to Sally so they may be added to the All Saints list and be prayed for at our All Saints Day service. Please submit their full names by October 29th.

Haut Gap’s Fall Festival is Friday, Oct 31, 8AM-10AM. We would love your help! If you can volunteer to assist or can donate a dozen donuts, please contact Lucy Jones.

On November 9, we are having a parish-wide lunch to celebrate how far we've come with the Higher Ground campaign. Following Sunday worship, we will head over to the Island Porch (160 Main Rd Unit A, Johns Island, SC 29455) and enjoy a catered meal and some fellowship. All are invited at no cost to you, but we do ask you to RSVP by November 2 to ensure we have enough food for everyone.

Our Operation Christmas Child international outreach program has kicked off. Samaritan’s Purse sends gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes filled throughout the country by folks like us to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We will have shoeboxes available for you to pick up at Haut Gap as well as information about suggested items that will bless the recipients! Boxes are available at Resurrection Hall and at Haut Gap on Sundays until we run out. Collection Sunday is November 16. For questions, please contact Libby Puckette.

We will have confirmation classes this December to prepare for our bishop's visit in February. If you or your child is interested in being confirmed, please let us know. For youth 7th grade and up, contact Rob Schluter. Adults, please contact Fr Jeremy.

Rockville Presbyterian is holding their annual Pig Pickin' Fundraiser. Eat in the Fellowship Hall or take out from the tent in the parking lot. Donations are used for local missions. St. John's Parish Church works with Rockville Presbyterian every month for our Second Saturday Workday.

Mark your calendars. The Feeding of the Multitude this year will be November 22, noon - 3PM at Berkeley Electric. We are collecting bags of groceries and will need volunteers to help on the 22nd. Click the link below for the list of items we are collecting for the bags.

Please remember when writing checks to the church to use "St. John's Parish Church" on the name line. The bank works with more than one St. John's and will not accept checks unless the name matches exactly. Thank you.

We are excited to begin a brand-new Sunday School season with a curriculum lovingly crafted by the St. John's Parish Church Children’s Ministry Team. Drawing from both Ms. Pam’s lessons and God’s Big Story curriculum, our teachings will guide children through the major themes of the Bible in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate. In the weeks ahead, children will explore God’s Word through the stories of Noah, Joseph, and Abraham, discovering timeless truths along the way.

All children ages 0 through 5th grade are warmly invited to join us each Sunday during the service from 10–11 AM. If you’d like to volunteer or help introduce a new child to our program, please reach out to us at childrensministry@stjohnsparish.net.

St. John’s Parish Church has a special partnership with the Charleston County Youth Detention Center. The parish ministers to the youth through prayer, cards and gift bags of toiletries and snacks throughout the year, and we just started bringing Holy Communion to the youth and staff on Sundays. St. John’s parishioners provide cards with personal notes sharing God’s love, hope and encouragement. St. John’s also addresses special needs for the Detention Center as they arise, such as the donation of a basketball goal and implementing a seedling/plant program.
