Teacher Appreciation
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8. We are gathering cards for the teachers and all staff at Haut Gap to let them know how much they are appreciated for all they do for the kids. Please consider writing a card letting them know you are thinking of them. Do not seal them, as we are going to put in a note letting them know we have people available to pray for them or someone they know needing prayer. Turn in all cards to the office by Tuesday, April 28. Robin LaRoche will be in the Connection Corridor with a limited supply of cards for you to stop before church and pick up or you can get your own. Thank you for helping St. John's Parish Church let the teachers and staff know how much we appreciate what they do. Questions, please call Sally Dixon. |

What's Happening in Our Children's Ministry
It's a joy to share that our elementary children have completed three First Communion classes. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. John Sosnowski for faithfully leading them through this important preparation and to the parents of these children for their faithfulness to bring the children to church. We are also deeply grateful for the faithful encouragement of Susan Baker and Pam Hanckel, whose dedication to children’s ministry brought this vision to life. Because of all of you, 25 children participated in this class. For more infomation visit: http://stjohnsparishchurch.com/news/whats-happening-in-childrens-ministry |

Morning Prayer Stream
"It’s very easy to wake up in the morning, get dressed, have a cup of coffee while we check the latest news, and immediately jump into our day. We often check our emails before we check in with our souls. What would happen if, instead, we started our day in praise and thanksgiving to God?" ~Rookie Anglican Guide to Morning Prayer by Jacob Davis. Every Monday through Thursday at 8AM, Fr. Jeremy faithfully streams the office of Morning Prayer to our Facebook page. Come join him as we prepare ourselves for the day out of a place of worship. |

A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
