Middle School (6th-8th Grades): Sundays 2PM - 3PM
High School (9th-12th Grades): Sundays 3PM - 4PM
We believe discipleship is a journey which starts at home and is supported by the work of the church. Our desire is for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be shared with the students in a way that it is applicable in their lives.

Prayer for our Parish

Dear Heavenly Father,
Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone.
In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit.
Through Your wisdom may we discern where You want us to be;
Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.

Wild At Heart Men's Retreat

October 5-8, 2023

Men, this is not a retreat about how to be a nicer guy! It is a 4-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart—his passions and his true nature—all given to him by God. It’s an invitation to rush the fields of Bannockburn, to go West, to leap the falls and save the beauty. For if a man is going to know who he truly is as a man, if he’s going to find life worth living, love a woman deeply, and not pass on his confusion to his children, he simply must get his heart back! Click here for more info.

More details to come, but for now – save the date.  For more information, contact Ben Dixon: bd100001@gmail.com

St John’s Parish Church
Building Committee Update

It’s amazing to watch the people of St John’s work together to establish a new church home.  Here’s a list of what has been accomplished through everyone’s contributions:
  • A twenty-acre piece of property on Main Road presented itself via Johns Island/Wadmalaw friends.
    • The property is all on high ground (20 feet above sea level).
    • The property is not in a flood zone.
    • 11 acres of the property have been delineated as “upland” wetland.
    • 9 acres of the property are free and clear for development and buffered nicely by the wetland zones.
    • The building committee has finished the due diligence period with positive results.
    • So far all questions about the property have been sufficiently addressed and cause no significant concerns.
    • St. John’s Parish Church will move to close on the property on October 3, 2023.
Click below and select "Building Fund" to help us reach our goal.

Painting FundRaiser for Building Fund

Claudia Boyce is  making some of her paintings available to anyone who makes a donation to our Building Fund from now until the end of October.  Her goal is to offer a total of 50 paintings.  These are smaller paintings that she typically paints in one day.  You can go to her website and check out the available paintings in the “Donate to St. John’s Parish Building Fund” section. In the comments section of each painting, you will see the size, description, availability, and minimum amount of donation  based on size.  Also, she will consider painting from a photo of your choice, provided it can be painted in one day.  If you want a painting, send Claudia an email about it and donate to St. John’s Parish Church. On the memo line, write Building Fund/Painting. Any questions: contact Claudia Boyce at 843-860-8811 or claudiaboyceart@gmail.com.

As of September 20, $3,250 has been contributed to the building fund through this fundraiser.

Thank you to everyone who helped provide dinner for the cadets for their Monday evening chapel service.
