St. John’s Parish Church provides meals whenever the need arises for those dealing with injury, illness or other extenuating circumstances. Currently, our parish has several members dealing with surgeries, broken bones or hospitalization. Please prayerfully consider helping to provide meals through this ministry. Contact Sherry Fox to sign up to help.

The Prayer Team is offering a discussion on Timothy Keller’s journey of discovery through the psalms called Prayer: Experiencing Awe and Intimacy with God. Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM at Haut Gap. Look for the sign outside the classrooms.

The Thursday evening Men's Group just started a new study February 6 - March 20. Led by Sam Gervais and Heath Gunther, they will read through J-Curve by Paul E. Miller. 

The J-Curve maps the ups and downs of daily life onto the story of Jesus. It grounds our journeys, not in some abstract idea, but in union with Christ and his work of love. Understanding our lives in light of the J-Curve roots our hope, centers our love, and tethers our faith to Christ.

Cursillo 196 planning is underway and expected to be a spirit filled event. It will be held at Holy Comforter in Sumter June 19-22.

The Altar Guild works behind the scenes to maintain and enhance our sacred places and to help increase our parish family’s awareness of God.

Currently, they prepare the altar area at Haut Gap for all services and Resurrection Hall for special services.

The Altar Guild welcomes new volunteers in a variety of capacities. If you are interested in helping to bless our church family, please contact Linda Hihn, Debbie Hawkins or the Church office.
