To begin the Ezra study we spent the last two Sundays looking at why God sent His people into exile and how this fits into His story of grace. This parallels our own exile from God now, and how He sent His Messiah to bring us home. Cyrus, Ezra and Zerubbabel are mini-messiahs to illustrate God’s work.

This week, we start with Ezra chapter one to see that God truly is in control of the story of their - and our - redemption.
