For a number of years, Sam Gervais has been facilitating a Junkfish regatta. This year, it will be held at the Sea Island Yacht Club in Rockville starting at noon, April 20. The men of St. Johns Parish Church are bringing a number of boats, so members can come sailing. Experienced sailors may borrow a boat, beginners can ride with an experienced sailor. Later in the day, we hope to take out the larger sailboats to allow those who may not be comfortable in a small rig to get on the water.
