St. John’s Parish Church is once again collecting Easter cards and items to create Jesus bags for the youth at the Charleston County Youth Detention Center. Click the button below for the complete list of items we are collecting, and please pray the Holy Spirit would point these youths to Christ through this ministry. Donation boxes will be available April 6 and April 13 in the Connections Corridor and at Resurrection Hall during the week. For more information, contact Chrissy Binz or Libby Puckette.

Don't forget to keep praying for your lenten prayer partner throughout the season of Lent. Consider sending them a card in the mail and be ready to reveal to them that you are their partner on Easter Sunday.

Join us for a time of fellowship as we fold Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday. We will meet at 10AM in Resurrection Hall. No experience needed.

Join us Sunday, April 13 at 10AM for our Palm Sunday service. We will begin our service outside with the Procession of Palms to begin our service and end with a reading of the Passion of the Christ.

Join us this Holy Tuesday for an interactive service geared for families. We will look at the full scope of Holy Week with activities on foot washing, communion and the cross. Dinner will be provided.

Then join us at 10AM at Haut Gap Middle School as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead at our Principal Easter Service, which will have the Flowering of the Cross, a Choral Procession and Holy Eucharist.

Ladies, grab your lunch and drive over to Resurrection Hall after Sunday worship for a time of fellowship.

We will meet for about an hour on the first Sunday of the month. This is an opportunity to enjoy the company of our sisters in Christ and get to know each other better.

St. John’s Parish Church has a special partnership with the Charleston County Youth Detention Center. The parish ministers to the youth through prayer, cards and gift bags of toiletries and snacks throughout the year. St. John’s parishioners provide cards with personal notes sharing God’s love, hope and encouragement. St. John’s also addresses special needs for the Detention Center as they arise, such as the donation of a basketball goal and implementing a seedling/plant program. The prison ministry also works with the community to meet requests for cards and toiletries for the local adult prisons.
