Celebrating the Ministry of
Chrissy Binz and Libby Puckette Chrissy and Libby are both active members of the church, but we are highlighting their ministry together as a team because they have such passion for their work with the Juvenile Detention Center. Whenever we have a collection for the youth, they ensure each bag is complete and meet the regulations set by the detention center. Be sure to ask them about this and the many other ministries they take part in when you see them this Sunday. |
Second Saturday Workgroup
The workgroup meets every 2nd Saturday of the month at 8am in Resurrection Hall. They have breakfast and fellowship for an hour, then from 9AM-12PM, they work on decks, wheelchair ramps or minor home repairs. You don’t need to bring any tools, but if you have a favorite hammer and cordless drill, that will be fine. Contact Stephen Haynsworth for more information or to be added to the text group for this ministry. |

A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
