Operation Christmas Child
Last Sunday, parishioners were able to take Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to fill. The response was great! We have some boxes available at Resurrection Hall and will have about ten more available on Sunday. Enjoy packing your box(es). Remember to put an assortment of toiletries, school supplies, a small toy or two and a wow item such as a doll, stuffed animal or soccer ball (also include a pump to go with the ball as it will need to be deflated to fit in the box). Don’t forget to enclose a picture of you and your family. Collection day is Sunday, November 17 or you can return your filled box to Resurrection Hall prior to that day. Do not seal your box. PRAYER is key so start praying now for your recipient(s) and the families involved to come to know to Jesus Christ. He is the perfect gift. Mission to Peru
During Thanksgiving week (Nov. 22-28, 2024) a total of 13 missioners ranging in age from 14-80 will serve in Peru; five of the missioners are from our high school youth group. Our mission will include visits to the Diocesan House for a meeting with Bishop Jorge, celebration with Peruvian youth at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd in Lima, worship with our friends at Sagrada Familia Church in Villa Maria, and fellowship with San Mateo Anglican School in San Juan de Lurigancho. Through interactions with people of another culture and language, we pray that God will expand our appreciation of how His gospel crosses every barrier to make us one in Christ Jesus. Further, as we reconnect with leaders and friends, we seek to discern vision and opportunities moving forward. What a blessing to be able to strengthen already established relationships and build new ones as well! For more infomation visit: |

Blessing Baskets
The Blessing Baskets ministry distributes about 400 government boxes of staples to people on the sea islands which come prepackaged with addresses. In addition to those boxes, Blessing Baskets packs perishable foods in bags to supplement the boxes and to give to people not eligible for government assistance. This is where we need help. Packing these bags is a huge undertaking from gathering, sorting, and packing the food into bags and its distribution. For more information please contact Walt Miller or Heath Gunther. |

A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
