Ministry of the Week
Lowcountry Pregnancy CenterThe Lowcountry Pregnancy Center (LPC) exists to provide life affirming reproductive health and family services in a compassionate Christian environment. Some of the services they provide are pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, nurse consultations, post abortion support, parenting classes, fatherhood classes, baby supplies, prayer support and more. St. John’s continues to support LPC yearly with contributions from our outreach budget. In years past, we have participated in baby showers through the DHC and the baby bottle ministry where parishioners can collect their loose change for the organization. Interested in finding out more, contact Libby Puckette or Katie Blonchek. |

A Prayer for our Parish
Dear Heavenly Father, Together we are united with the saints of the household of God; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone. In Christ alone our church is being joined together, and is growing into a holy temple of the Lord by the Spirit. By Your wisdom may we discern what You want us to build; Through Jesus Christ our Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen. |
